Abington School Board Meeting: Items of Note

Tonight’s meeting of the Abington School District Board will include a few notable agenda items. These include:

  • The Board will appoint Kenneth A. Roos from Wisler Pearlstine as its solicitor. For his services, Wisler Pearlstine will charge $46,000 per year plus $185 per hour for partners and senior associates and $165 per hour for associate attorneys except for non-routine real estate, litigation, and construction matters, which will be billed at mutually agreeable hourly rates.
  • The District will seek bids for new evacuation chairs which are designed for use in emergency situations.
  • The District will award contracts to Hillyard/Delaware Valley for custodial supplies for $36,405 and to SHI International Corp for email security software for $6,349.

The meeting will be held at the Administration Building Board Room at 970 Highland Avenue at 7:30 PM. It will be broadcast on local cable.
