The Abington Township Police Department announced today the arrest of Ian Garra, 18, for possession of child sexual abuse materials.

According to the department’s press release, Abington officers executed a search warrant on Monday, February 16, at a residence in Ardsley following an investigation into the suspected download of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).

Detectives determined that Garra had downloaded and was in possession of thousands of images and videos depicting CSAM. He was taken into custody and arraigned by a judge who denied bail, police said.
