On July 24th, NASA Solar System Ambassador and Penn State Physics Professor Ann Schmiedekamp will discuss the recent pictures revealed by NASA of the James Webb telescope at a free event at Penn State Abington.
Leaving Earth on December 25th of 2021, the Webb telescope has traveled over a million miles through space. According to NASA officials, the world getting a look at the full capabilities of this telescope will usher in a new era of astronomy.
The event will take place at the Penn State Abington Campus Woodland Building at 1600 Woodland Road on Sunday, July 24th, at 2 p.m. The event is for all ages and after the discussion, there will be demonstrations and activities. If you want to attend, you must RSVP here.
