Mr. James “Jim” Maccaroni, a longtime resident and volunteer of Hatboro, passed away on June 25 at Wesley Enhanced Living in Doylestown. He was 82.

In addition to serving in the Army Reserve, Mr. Maccaroni worked in the art department at Philadelphia’s Channel 17, as co-founder of the ad agency MR Associates, and for many years as communications director at the New Jersey Education Association, his obituary said.
