The Elkins Park Fire Company announced that crews were dispatched on Sunday afternoon to the 400 block of Valley Road in Cheltenham Township for a reported vehicle accident with entrapment.

Officials said crews were able to stabilize the vehicle and safely remove the occupant who was transported by EMS for further evaluation.

Stations 3 and 4 of the Cheltenham Fire Company and Cheltenham Township EMS provided mutual aid, according to the post.
