The Roslyn Fire Company (Abington Township) announced that crews were dispatched to a house fire on the 300 block of Cameron Road in Willow Grove (Upper Moreland Township) on New Year’s Eve.

“As crews completed their work and exited the residence, the clock struck midnight and fireworks lit up the sky over the fire engines, marking the start of a new year in the same way we ended the last- by serving our community and our neighboring departments,” the company said in a post.

Roslyn firefighters assisted with “securing utilities, ventilation, overhaul, and other critical ground operations”, according to their post.
