Update: Pennsylvania State Police announced that Mr. McGowan has been found.

The Pennsylvania State Police announced today that officials are searching for Francis McGowan, 77, of Abington Township, who was last seen along Susquehanna Road in Roslyn around 4:00am on January 1, 2026.

Mr. McGowan drives a red Nissan Titan (PA tag: DV36468) and was last seen wearing a green military jacket, blue jeans, and no shoes.

According to a flyer circulated by Pennsylvania State Police, he may be at special risk of harm or injury and may be confused.

Anyone who sees Mr. McGowan is asked to call 911 or the Abington Township Police Department at 267-536-1100.
