Huntingdon Valley resident feat. by 6ABC for being diagnosed with blood clot disorder

Maurice Clark, a resident of Huntingdon Valley (Lower Moreland Township) was featured by 6ABC for being diagnosed with CTEPH: Chronic Thrombo-Embolic Pulmonary Hypertension.

CTEPH is a condition where clots develop in the arteries of the lungs. Tests showed blood clots in Clark’s lung arteries and heart itself, and his first and only signs were labored breathing and fatigue.

Dr. Anjali Vaidya of Temple Health, who provided the diagnosis, said surgery to remove the clots is the most effective method.
