Arcadia University in Glenside/Wyncote was featured by CBS News for welcoming more than 700 students—one of the largest freshman classes in recent history—to campus this fall.

Move-in day took place this morning. Per the tradition, student-athletes, faculty, staff, and the president assisted families with unloading their cars and carrying belongings to students’ rooms.

According to CBS, the university’s education program is one of the key drivers of the growth. Nearly 50% of Arcadia graduates stay in the Philadelphia region and go on to fill vacancies in area schools, school officials said.
