A California-based company, Cadence, is stocking gas stations, corner delis and convenience stores with an emergency contraception brand, NBC News reported on Sunday, May 18.
Called the “Morning After Pill,” the brand says it prevents pregnancy by delaying ovulation if taken within 72 hours of unprotected sex or a birth control mishap.
The pills are in 11,000 locations in 48 states, and Cadence’s over-the-counter regular birth control pill is also seeking Food and Drug Administration approval, NBC said.

According to the company website’s store finder, the pill can be found in the following greater Glenside locations:
- 7-Eleven 250 S Easton Road
- 7-Eleven 1003 E Willow Grove Avenue
- 7-Eleven 362 Easton Road
- 7-Eleven 1837 Old York Road (Abington)
