Ben Bergman of Jenkintown Night Market interviewed by Chrissie Emma & Stephen Tolton of Jenkintown Arts Garage

Ben Bergman, organizer of the Jenkintown Night Market, was recently interviewed by the Jenkintown Arts Garage about his upcoming market series, which will open Tuesday, May 30 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm in Town Square.

The Jenkintown Arts Garage, aka “the JAG”, is managed by Chrissie Emma and Stephen Tolton, and aims to support local artists through events, classes, workshops, and a podcast series. From their Youtube channel’s “About Us” section:

After partnering in 2018, the dynamic duo dabbled in organizing a variety of music and dance collaborative events they called “Happenings,” that centered on interesting pairings of local musicians with dancers, hosted at Jenkintown Dance Arts. In the fall of 2020, an opportunity arose for the partners in crime to create a dedicated space where they could expand upon and iterate on their ideas. Through the Jenkintown Arts Garage, Miss Chrissie and Steve seek to support the local arts communities through events, classes, and workshops as well as exploring the limits of combining digital arcana with live art to create unique experiences. You can follow Miss Chrissie and Steve’s adventures in Jenkintown and beyond along with a variety of interesting guests from the worlds of music, dance, technology, and more on their podcast, “Partners in Crime in the 19046” at partnersincrime.show.

From the video’s description:

In this episode, the Partners in Crime are joined by returning guest, Ben Bergman, to talk about big things coming to the Jenkintown Night Market this year as well as his other efforts in “experiential retail.” Then, in a rousing “A Game Called Something,” we learn about the seasons, shopping for podcast equipment, and Steve rants about buying a used router while drinking at Broken Goblet. All that and more…LIVE from the 19046!
