The Abington Fire Company recently warned residents of a scam in which unknown social media accounts claim to be selling fire company merchandise.

From the Facebook post:

This afternoon we identified (2) fraudulent accounts posting that you could purchase Sweatshirts and other merchandise with our logo patch on it. We do not currently sell any merchandise and would not sell this through a 3rd party posting comments on our old posts. We have taken steps to remove these posts as well as block the accounts but wanted to ensure no one follows their link should another one be created / posted on our page.
