A seven-year-old girl was struck by a vehicle around 8:30pm on Thursday night on the 900 block of Township Line Road between Forrest and West avenues in Abington Township.

According to 6ABC, the girl was taken to Jefferson Abington Hospital but her condition is unknown. Police are investigating the cause of the crash.

The driver remained at the scene of the crash, per the outlet. Township Line Road was closed for about half an hour as crews responded to the scene.
