Philly man sentenced for conspiring with Cheltenham man in multi-county gun trafficking network

Kevin William McCloud, 33, of Philadelphia, was sentenced to 19 to 38 years in prison after being convicted of conspiring with Bryan Jaurice Clark Jr., of Cheltenham Township, to illegally obtain five firearms while participating in a gun trafficking organization that utilized straw purchase schemes in Montgomery, Bucks and Philadelphia counties between 2020 and 2023, Mainline Media News reported.

McCloud was charged with corrupt organizations, conspiring in the unlawful sale or transfer of firearms, conspiring in the sale or transfer of firearms to an ineligible person, persons not to possess firearms, possession of a firearm with an altered manufacturer’s number and criminal use of a communication facility.

Clark, 27, of the 500 block of General Patterson Drive, was sentenced in late July to 20 to 40 years in prison for similar charges.
