The Montgomery County Department of Public Safety announced today that a Winter Weather Advisory will be in effect beginning early Monday morning.
“Snow should start around 5-6am and will increase in intensity throughout the morning. 2-4″ of snow is expected across the County before the storm winds down in the afternoon. Please avoid travel on Monday morning if possible!” the department said in a post.

Monday
Snow, mainly before 4pm. High near 30. Calm wind becoming northeast around 5 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.
Monday Night
A chance of snow, mainly before 1am. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 17. Northwest wind 5 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Sunny, with a high near 30. Northwest wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
