Vice City Collectibles in Glenside going ‘strictly online’ after a rough six months

Vice City Collectibles, a retro goodies store to the right of the Ez Stop gas station at 532 N Easton Road in Abington Township, closed its doors last week after six months of sparse business.

Owner Fernando Amorim, 37, of Glenside, said Vice City will be “strictly online” going forward. He’s currently working on a website and Etsy/Amazon/EBay stores that are expected to be up and running soon.

“Unfortunately, the store was not sustainable. People think I’m a smoke shop or part of the gas station, even though I have clear signage that speaks otherwise,” he said.

His landscaping business, American Muscle Landscaping, will continue to operate as usual.
