In honor of Veteran’s Day, local historian Chuck Langerman has shared a list of veterans who either graduated from or worked for Cheltenham School District.

Tom Sexton (pictured below), a former Cheltenham High School English teacher and cross-country coach, entered the Marine Corps after high school and served in the Marines before attending college.

Notable alumni who have served in the U.S. military include:

• Robert “Bob” Wade (1942)
• Ed Charters (1949)
• Anthony “Tony” Stremic (1952)

• Andy Charles Rackow (1965)
• Peter Taub (2004)
