The meeting of the Abington Board of School Directors scheduled for February 4th at 7:30 p.m. has changed venues. Due to the public interest in this specific meeting due to the controversy surrounding School Board Director Dr. Tamar Klaiman’s comments about police, the meeting was first moved to Abington Junior High School Little Theatre.

Now, the district has moved to the meeting to an even larger venue, the auditorium of Abington Senior High School, and is utilizing shuttle buses from the parking lots throughout the campus.

In response to the comments, the meeting will now include a presentation from the Abington Township Police Department Chief of Police, Patrick Molloy.
