Upper Moreland police catch three retail thieves, release four additional arrests

Christopher Winfree, 26 (pictured above), was arrested by Upper Moreland police on January 10 at 7:31pm for retail theft and resisting arrest. He is accused of stealing $509 worth of video gaming equipment from the Best Buy at 1130 Easton Road in Willow Grove and fleeing on foot to avoid arrest. 

Upper Moreland Police Department Chief Andrew J. Block also announced that Charmaine Johnson, 30, and Teletha Marrisette, 38 of Philadelphia were arrested for stealing $2,054 worth of home, clothing and food items from the Walmart at 2101 Blair Mill Road in Willow Grove. 

They were arrested on January 13 at 6:00pm and are charged with Retail Theft and Conspiracy to Commit Retail Theft.

The Department also released the following arrests:

  • On January 9 at 10:30pm, Peter Herbert, 53, of Hatboro was arrested for Simple Assault and Harassment. Herbert is accused of striking and causing injury to another person during an incident in Willow Grove.
  • On January 11 at 8:27pm, Xiangxing He, 46, of Warrington was arrested for DUI-.16% or Higher and Driving Under the Influence following a vehicle stop at Easton Road and Center Avenue in Willow Grove.
  • On January 12 at 11:30am, John Antenozzi, 55, of Abington was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance and Possession of Paraphernalia at 201 York Road in Willow Grove.
  • On January 17 at 1:35pm, Joshua Levinsky, 32, of East Brunswick, NJ, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Levinsky was arrested following a call for a suspicious person at the Hampton Inn at 1500 Easton Road in Willow Grove.
