Upper Moreland police ask residents to check security cameras for suspicious activity

The Upper Moreland Police Department has provided an update regarding the multiple reports of subjects entering vehicles on Wednesday, August 21, which resulted in five suspects in custody.

According to the update, the thefts took place in the area of Vincent Road to the Woodlawn Hill neighborhood (Willow Grove) between the hours of 3:00am and 4:30am.

The five male actors were operating a blue Hyundai Elantra with New Jersey registration, police said.

“Our Detectives are still working hard to find additional victims and they need your help,” the department said in a post. “Please take a moment to check any security cameras you have during that time frame for any suspicious activity – either people or vehicles – and send the video to Detective Small by emailing vsmall@uppermoreland.org.”
