The Upper Moreland Police Department announced that officers responded to multiple reports of subjects entering vehicles in the Woodlawn Hill neighborhood (Willow Grove) in the early morning hours of Wednesday, August 21.

Five suspects have been taken into custody, police said. The department is asking residents to check their vehicles and contact police if they were a victim of theft or attempted theft.

Reports can be made by calling 9-1-1 or by coming to the police station, the department said.
