Upper Dublin Township To Close Part Of Route 152 (Limekiln Pike)

“Route 152 (Limekiln Pike) is scheduled to close between Twining Road and Fitzwatertown Road in Upper Dublin Township [from]…Thursday, December 27, 2018, [to]…Thursday, January 4, 2019, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM,” according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), “for pedestrian bridge removal and installation.”

PennDOT will operate a detour during the construction.

 

 

“During the closure, Route 152 (Limekiln Pike) motorists will be detoured over Susquehanna Road and Fitzwatertown Road,” according to a statement from PennDOT.  “Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone.  Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area.  The schedule is weather dependent.”

This construction project, according to PennDOT, is being done by Upper Dublin Township under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
