Jack Haugen (above left) and Emile Chanoine (above right) of the Cheltenham High School baseball team have been selected to the Pennsylvania State Baseball Coaches Association 6-A All-State team.
Chanoine, a rising senior, was named first-team all-state as an outfielder after a season in which he hit .381, had six home runs and scored 33 runs.
Haugen, a 2026 graduate, made the second team as a shortstop following a season in which he hit .472 with three home runs and 28 RBI.
This year’s Panthers qualified for the District I tournament for the first time in more than a decade and had six individuals claim eight spots on the All-Freedom Division teams. First-teamers included Haugen, Chanoine, designated hitter Eamon Ivory, and third baseman Finn Kopp. Billy Fishman (outfield) and Kopp (pitcher) qualified for second team honors, while Tim Dugan (catcher) and Ivory (pitcher) were honorable mention.
