Tous Les Jours, world-renowned bakery, to open in Yorktown Plaza next week

Tous Les Jours, a French-Asian-inspired bakery/cafe, will host its grand opening in Elkins Park’s Yorktown Plaza on Friday, June 30.

Franchisee Bowen Zheng made the official announcement today, June 20, after passing the health inspection this morning. Plans have been in the works since January, with construction expected to be completed in June.

The first 100 guests next Friday will receive the following:

“We have been selected as the 100th store in the US so we are having some extra grand opening events,” Zheng said.

With more than 1,650 Tous Les Jours locations worldwide, Zheng felt that Elkins Park was the right fit for a new store.

“Elkins Park was chosen due to its great mixture of different American communities that have
already been exposed to and come to love Asian bakeries and cuisines,” he said. “We hope to increase foot traffic to Yorktown Plaza and provide local residents and workers another option for breakfast during the morning commute.”

We will be publishing details of the grand opening’s events soon. For our previous coverage on the forthcoming bakery/cafe, you can click here.
