Glenside resident George Conner shared a Youtube gem from the early 1990s today.

The KYW Philadelphia News clip below features students from Glenside Weldon Elementary School as they celebrate “Nerd Day” on March 2, 1990. Enjoy:

The school was demolished in 2014 following a vote by the Abington School Board. 

The building dated back to as early as 1906, with 11 additions made over the years. The videos below show the demolition:
