The Fort Kitchen & Bar, a family-friendly bar-restaurant located at 325 Pennsylvania Avenue in Fort Washington, will open on Friday, November 22.

The restaurant is owned by the same group that runs Jasper’s Backyard in Conshohocken. The space was previously a Friendly’s and has been extensively renovated and an outdoor dining area has been added.

The initial hours are Wednesday from 11:30am to 9:00pm, Thursday through Saturday from 11:30am to 10:00pm, and Sunday from 11:30am to 8:00pm. The bar stays open an additional hour each evening. The restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday.
