The Lower Moreland Police Department announced several road closures tonight:

• Philmont Avenue in Huntingdon Valley has been shut down between Red Lion Road and Huntingdon Pike due to flooding. 
• Terwood Road has been shut down between Welsh Road and Valley Road 
• Heaton Road has been shut down between Byberry Road and County Line Road

The Upper Moreland Police Department announced that Blair Mill Road at Home Road is closed in both directions due to flooding.  

Cheltenham Township announced that Tookany Parkway is closed from Beryl Road to Central Avenue and Ashbourne Road to Johns Road.

In related news, officials announced that all Abington and Upper Moreland schools will open on a two-hour delay Wednesday, January 10. Before-school care provided by the YMCA will also operate on a delayed schedule for Abington.
