State Representative Napoleon Nelson, who serves Cheltenham, Jenkintown and Springfield, was sworn in on Tuesday, January 7 for his third term representing the 154th Legislative District in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.
Nelson took the oath of office administered by Pennsylvania Supreme Court Chief Justice Debra Todd. The legislative session will continue through November 30, 2026, as part of the 209th consecutive legislative session of the Pennsylvania General Assembly.
“I am deeply honored to continue serving the people of the 154th District and working alongside my colleagues to make Pennsylvania a stronger, fairer place for all its residents,” Nelson said. “I look forward to building on the progress we’ve made and advancing policies that will create lasting change in our communities. Together, we will continue to fight for affordable healthcare, economic opportunity, and justice for every Pennsylvanian.”
In addition to his role in the House, Nelson will continue to serve as chair of the Pennsylvania Legislative Black Caucus.
