Students at the Abington Senior High School and at Overlook Elementary School helped make a difference in the community in the last few days.

“The Philadelphia Eagles might not have been in the Super Bowl…but that didn’t stop the students of Overlook Elementary School from getting into the “Souper Bowl” spirit on Friday,” according to a statement from the Abington School District.  “The annual event brings the Abington Senior High School football and cheerleading teams to the classrooms to read to elementary students, with a special luncheon held afterward for sixth-graders.  A canned food drive is a key component of the big event.”
