SEPTA has made some updates to Regional Rail schedules this year.
The changes will begin Sunday, Jaunary 7 and are intended to maintain Regional Rail service at 77% of pre-COVID levels. Regional Rail ridership has returned gradually and is currently at about 58% of pre-pandemic levels, SEPTA said.

These updates will impact the Airport, Chestnut Hill East, Chestnut Hill West, Fox Chase, Glenside, Lansdale/Doylestown, Manayunk/Norristown, Media/Wawa, Paoli/Thorndale, Trenton, Warminster, West Trenton, and Wilmington/Newark Lines.
Riders are encouraged to check the schedules for new departure and arrival times.
Changes to the Glenside Combined station include:
WEEKDAY INBOUND
5207, the 7:05 am departure from Doylestown will stop at Jenkintown-Wyncote and arrive at Suburban Station 5 minutes LATER at 8:36 am.
6481, the 8:09 am Glenside departure will operate 13 minutes LATER at 8:22 am and arrive at Suburban Station at 8:55 am. Glenside and Jenkintown board 6593 depart at 8:17 am and 8:20 am respectively.
6497, the 8:20 am Glenside departure will no longer operate due to Willow Grove track construction and will be replaced by rescheduled train 6481.
4221, the 2:55 pm Glenside train is renumbered 4753 and will operate 7 minutes EARLIER and arrive at Suburban Station at 3:19 pm. 4753 will operate service to Trenton Station.
3223, the 3:10 pm West Trenton departure will operate 7 minutes LATER at all station stops and will arrive at Suburban Station at 4:30 pm.
6599, the 5:37 pm Glenside Station departure is renumbered 5399 and will operate 36 minutes LATER, departing Glenside at 6:13 pm and arriving at Suburban Station at 6:39 pm.
4383, the 6:09 pm Glenside Station departure is replaced by 5399 departing at 6:13 pm, 4 minutes LATER, and arriving at Suburban Station at 6:39 pm.
6485, the 6:35 pm Glenside Station departure is annulled due to Willow Grove track construction. Passengers are advised to use trains 5399 and 461 from Glenside and 5399 and 3545 from Jenkintown – Wyncote, Elkins Park, and Melrose Park to Center City Philadelphia.
WEEKDAY OUTBOUND
6334, the 4:02 pm Suburban Station departure is renumbered 334 and will originate from the Media/Wawa Line. 334 will stop at Penn Medicine Station at 5:13 pm. 334 will board on tracks 5-6 at William H. Gray III 30th Street Station.
3482, the 5:31 pm Suburban Station departure is renumbered 5440, originating from the Paoli/Thorndale Line. Warminster passengers from Penn Medicine are advised to use 334 at 5:13 pm and transfer at Jefferson Station to 5440. 5440 will board on tracks 1-2 at William H. Gray III 30th Street Station.
6336, the 5:39 pm Suburban Station departure will depart 19 minutes LATER at 5:58 pm and make all local stops en route to West Trenton.
5442, the 5:45 pm Suburban Station departure will no longer operate. Passengers are advised to use 6598, the 5:53 pm Suburban Station departure or 6336, the 5:58 pm Suburban Station departure for station stops between Center City Philadelphia and Glenside.
2530, the 9:09 pm Suburban Station departure is extended from Link Belt to Doylestown, making station stops at Chalfont, New Britain, Delaware Valley University and Doylestown, arriving at 10:36 pm.

No changes.
WEEKEND OUTBOUND
All weekend outbound trains to Lansdale/Doylestown are adjusted and will operate up 1 to 3 minutes LATER between Fern Rock Transportation Center and all stations en route to Lansdale/Doylestown. Please consult the timetable for new station times.
