Abington Township announced that a segment of Shady Lane will be closed on Friday, November 3, from 7:00am to 4:00pm.

According to officials, the closure will allow Philadelphia Streets Department contractors (James J. Anderson Construction) to mill and pave Shady Lane from Pine Road to the culvert at the Abington Township border.

The work is being performed as part of safety improvements to the culvert at the City/Abington Township border and will be followed by speed cushion installation this fall and new signage and guide rail installation in the spring.
