Governor Josh Shapiro recently faced off with Kylie Kelce, the popular podcaster and media personality (and wife of former Philadelphia Eagle Jason Kelce), in a “PIG-style” basketball game on the roof of the Capitol building in Harrisburg.
The game was featured in Kelce’s “Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce” Youtube channel. From the episode’s description:
Kylie is somehow set loose in the complex where she discovers haunted tunnels, hilarious statues and manages to climb to the top of a dome to of course shout expletives from the literal rooftops. After all the f’ing around in the Capitol, Kylie gets to chat with Governor of Pennsylvania Josh Shapiro and First Lady Lori Shapiro and find out about all the incredible initiatives they’ve put in place to support women, young girls in school and people with disabilities. Kylie also finds out just how bad at basketball she really is when she plays a game of “GOV” against the Governor on the brand new makeshift court the team put on the roof. You’re not gonna want to miss those Kylie airballs…
Fun Fact: Shapiro was once a high school standout point guard nicknamed “The General” at Akiba Hebrew Academy in Bryn Mawr. He helped them to a 25-3 record in 1991. The Philadelphia Inquirer covered his hardwood glory days earlier this month.
