The maintenance driveway and pathways of Lorimer Park, along with the Byberry Road parking lot of the Pennypack Trail in Huntingdon Valley, will see asphalt paving and other improvements in the coming months, Mainline Media News reported.

Montgomery County officials signed off on a contract which also included the following changes at those locations: sub base preparation, binder and wearing courses, porous paving, pavement markings, permanent restoration and top soil backup.

Funding for the paving project is expected to come from the county’s capital improvement program.
