Salus University will collaborate with Hanger Clinic and Alps® to host an Adaptive Recreational Activities Day on Saturday, June 24 from 9:00am to 3:00pm at the Hafter Student Community Center.
The free event welcomes participants from the Greater Philadelphia community to participate in activities that have been customized for those living with limb loss, orthotic bracing, low vision, or in need of rehabilitation services, including accessible board games, and adaptive sports such as golf, cycling and basketball. Participants can also attend educational workshops discussing wellness, nutrition, and skincare.
The event will include a full day of sports and activities, including wheelchair basketball, adaptive golf, tennis, volleyball, and more.
