Sabor de Puebla Food Market, Veil Salon now open in Hatboro

Hatboro Borough recently welcomed two new businesses, with several more expected within the coming months.

Sabor de Puebla Food Market, a Mexican bodega which specializes in Mexican food, drinks and spices, opened roughly two weeks ago at 34 S York Road.

The market features a takeout cafe offering molee-based cuisine. Their Facebook page is here.

Veil Salon

Veil Salon opened October 1 at 216 S. York Road.

Carly McCreesh, a resident of Fox Chase and a graduate of Hatboro-Horsham High School, said the borough seemed like the right fit to start her new business.

“I love being here and I love Hatboro,” McCreesh said. ” I worked in Blue Bell over the past seven years and a little bit in Philly. I came here with a full book of clients. We’ve been very busy.”

McCreesh noted that her brother, an experienced barber, and her mother, a hairstylist for over 30 years and a Hatboro resident, are also taking clients.

“It’s in our family. People are always pleasantly surprised to find out we’re related,” she said.
