The Abington Township Police Department announced today that Jada Segers, an Abington Middle School student, has been reported missing since Friday, April 4 at approximately 3:00pm.
She was last seen at Abington Middle School. Police said she boarded her assigned school bus but has not returned home since. Segers’ grandmother, who is her legal guardian, reported her missing and she has been entered into Law Enforcement databases.
Officials believe Segers may be with her biological mother, who is not her court-assigned custodian. Segers’ biological mother’s last known address is on the 200 block of S. Felton Street in Philadelphia.
Segers is described as 12 years old, black, 5’0” and weighing 100 – 110 pounds with long braided hair. She was last seen wearing a black top, black leggings, and black Crocs.
Anyone with any information that could help locate this juvenile is asked to contact Detective Joe Marrero at jmarrero@abingtonpa.gov or (267)536-1105.
