Rockledge seeking new borough manager following current manager’s resignation

Bryan J. Poster, Rockledge Borough manager since January 2023, announced today his resignation—effective Friday, April 11—to accept a position with Telford Borough.

During his tenure, the borough has improved efficiency, retention, visibility, and “developed job descriptions for all borough positions, created an employee handbook, implemented a new payroll system, along with many other HR accomplishments,” according to Poster.

The borough was also able to secure various project grants and began the inaugural tree-lighting event in December.

“I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Rockledge Borough for the opportunity I have had over the past two years,” Poster said in a post. “Working alongside the staff, council, and residents has been a rewarding experience. I am confident that Rockledge will continue to thrive, thanks to the dedication and hard work of everyone involved.”

Poster noted that Telford “is much closer to my home,” but said he will “remain committed to assisting Rockledge in any way possible during the interim period until a new manager is appointed.”

The borough’s website does not yet list the vacancy.
