Rockledge police swear in new Chief, full-time officer

The Rockledge Borough Police Department announced the swearing in of Chief Oscar Horajeckyj.

“With decades of law enforcement experience and a deep dedication to Rockledge, Chief Horajeckyj brings a fresh vision for our department and community,” the department said in a post. “His commitment to transparency, safety, and building strong community partnerships is setting an exciting new path forward. We’re lucky to have you leading the way, Chief!”

The department also swore in its newest full-time officer, Matthew Morse.

“Officer Morse joins us with several years of experience under his belt, bringing valuable skills and dedication to Rockledge PD. We’re thrilled to have him on board and can’t wait to see the positive impact he’ll make in our community!” the department said in a post.


Officer Steve Grabov finalized his one-year probation period with the department following a career with SEPTA Police.

“Officer Grabov’s dedication and experience have been invaluable, and his seamless transition into our team has shown his commitment to excellence. We’re proud to have him continue serving the Rockledge community!” the department said in a post.

Senior Patrol Officer Frank Weinberg was honored for his 25th year of service with the department.

“Thank you, Officer Weinberg, for your unwavering commitment to keeping our community safe. Your experience and dedication are invaluable!” the department said in a post.
