The office of State Representative Napoleon Nelson, which serves Cheltenham, Jenkintown and Springfield,Β has provided a list of foodbanks in greater Glenside in light of the Trump administration’s federal funding pause.
“It’s hard to say if we’ll see an uptick of food insecurity. They said it wasn’t going to affect individual assistance, so we’re waiting to hear back on that. It’s a little unclear,” Shannon Ward, a constituent services advisor in Rep. Nelson’s office, told Glenside Local. “
Ward said she expects more information in Rep. Nelson’s next weekly newsletter.
