Quigg Deli, a longtime staple at 850 N Easton Road in Glenside, is closing for good on Saturday, May 31 at 7:00pm.

“It’s a bittersweet thing,” co-owner Eilish Quigg told Glenside Local, noting that the decision to close is partly based on her mother (and co-owner) Geraldine’s retirement.

“I grew up in Glenside. I love the people, and we’re going to miss everyone,” Eilish, who started working at Glenside Dairy Queen in 2001 at the age of 14, said. “We’ll still be around.”

The Quiggs took over Castlewood Deli in May 2010. In 2022, they closed the Dairy Queen side of business for a better work-life balance.
