A special Pre-Thanksgiving Farmers Market Pop-Up will take place on Tuesday, November 25, from 2:00pm to 6:00pm in the parking lot of Immaculate Conception Church in Jenkintown.
The event, organized by the Jenkintown Community Alliance (JCA), will bring together several regular Jenkintown Night Market vendors offering fresh produce, baked goods, prepared foods, and artisan items ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday.
The vendor lineup includes Herrcastle Farm, Traditional Greek Sweets, The Pickle Dude, Ragnarok Hot Sauce, MR. Big Stuff, Mermead, Stone & Key Cellars, and AJ Bread and Bakery.

In partnership with the Jenkintown Food Cupboard, the pop-up will also incorporate a charitable element. Food Cupboard representatives will be on-site collecting non-perishable food donations. Shoppers will have the option to purchase fresh produce from the market specifically for donation as well. Herrcastle Farm will offer brown bags that shoppers can fill with fruits and vegetables before dropping them off directly at the Food Cupboard table.
“This market is a simple way for our community to come together before the holiday,” said Ben Bergman, Executive Director of the Jenkintown Community Alliance. “When people shop local and share a little of what they have, it creates a spirit of warmth and connection that really reflects what Thanksgiving is all about.”
The event is open to the public and will be held rain or shine. More details here.
