On Friday, August 27th, from 9:00 pm to 7:00 am the next morning, Route 152 (Limekiln Pike) is scheduled to close between Willow Grove Avenue and Mount Carmel Avenue in Abington and Cheltenham townships. The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced on Friday, April 13th that construction under a project to rehabilitate the structure that carries Route 152 over SEPTA’s Regional Rail Line was the reason for the closure.

During the closure, drivers are asked to use Mount Carmel Avenue and Easton Road and to allow extra time for travel due to potential backups and delays.
