PFAS Update from April 15th Meeting

This announcement was issued yesterday by Cheltenham Township.

 On April 15, 2019 the PFAS Action Team meeting held a meeting at Abington Senior High School. Governor Tom Wolf created the PFAS Action Team in September 2018 to address PFAS contaminants across the commonwealth and protect Pennsylvania residents. 

At this meeting updates were presented from the Action Team and the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) including Secretary Patrick McDonnell. The sampling plan was presented (see link below).

Upcoming Meetings:

The Department of Health will hold a meeting April 29 in Horsham to discuss that analysis in more detail. More details to come.
