PennDOT announced that it will be repairing deteriorated pavement on the following roads in our area this week:
- Valley Green Road, Springfield Township.
- Stenton Avenue, Springfield Township.
- Dreshertown Road, Upper Dublin Township.
- Willow Grove Avenue, Edgehill Road, Cheltenham Avenue, Springfield, Abington, and Cheltenham townships.
Crews will restrict travel lanes on these state highways to patch areas of deteriorating pavement. Motorists are advised to be alert of this moving operation and to expect intermittent lane closures and possible slowdowns when driving near work crews. All activities are weather dependent.
Motorists are reminded to slow down in the work zone and refrain from distracted driving to keep themselves and our workers safe.
The full list of repairs, which includes more than 55 state highways, can be found here.
PennDOT would also like to remind motorists that potholes and other roadway concerns on state roads can be reported by calling 1-800-FIX-ROAD or visiting www.penndot.pa.gov and clicking on “Submit Concern”.
