Hatboro Borough officials announced that PECO will begin electrical upgrades in the areas of Hatboro, Upper Moreland Township, and Horsham beginning in early June through October.
The upgrades include new equipment such as poles, tree-resistant aerial wires, and other associated devices to be installed along Moreboro Road, North Linden Avenue, West Monument Avenue, Blair Mill Road, Hatboro Avenue, and Newington Drive, officials said.
During work, PECO and their contractors may need to temporarily interrupt electrical service in these areas. To ensure you receive all outage updates, please confirm that your phone number is accurate in PECO’s system through MyAccount at peco.com/myaccount or by calling PECO at 1-800-494-4000.

In related news, the borough also announced that AQUA will be working in the area of York Road and Moreland Avenue beginning Tuesday, June 3 through Thursday, June 5 between 9:00am and 3:00pm.
The work includes lane restrictions in the area and the traffic signal at the intersection of York Road and Moreland Ave will be on flash, officials said.
