The parents of Rachel King recently spoke to CBS News about the aftermath of their daughter’s murder.

Allen and Carol King said their faith has been a source of strength, and they hope to help others grieving and healing from gun violence.

“I would have lost my mind two weeks ago, it’s only the power of the living God keeping me,” Allen King told CBS News. 

The King family also said they are grateful for the emotional and financial support they’ve received from the community, including schools, churches, and law enforcement.

The Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office announced the arrest of Rachel’s murderer and his accomplice yesterday.
