The Cheltenham Township Police Department is still investigating a strong-arm robbery which occurred in the 400 block of Asbury Avenue in Melrose Park on Wednesday, September 25 at approximately 7:45am.

According to police, a juvenile female reported that the occupants of a black Kia sedan approached her while she waited for the school bus on Asbury Avenue. A male occupant of the vehicle called the complainant over to the car, threatened her, and grabbed a cell phone from her hands. The victim was uninjured and the vehicle fled the scene.
