Cheltenham Township would like residents to know that it will keep Ogontz Park closed for the remainder of the summer in order to speed completion of its Sanitary Sewer Replacement Project.

According to the township, it is critical to keep Ogontz Park closed to restore the grounds and let them rest and settle. The hope was to open the park and fields in the spring, but due to weather related issues the park needs more time for proper restoration.

Updates on the opening of Ogontz Park will be communicated through the website. The tennis courts are the only recreational amenity that is open, and can be accessed at through entrance on High School Road.
