Montgomery County has issued a Code Red Hot Weather Emergency for Wednesday, August 28 from 12:00pm to 6:00pm.

The National Weather Service has concurrently issued an Air Quality Alert and Excessive Heat Warning for today from 11:00am to 8:00pm. The agency expects “dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 105” in eastern Montgomery County.
