The Abington Township Police Department announced this evening that numerous reports have been received regarding “a chemical odor that has been reported throughout the Township.”

According to their post, the Abington Fire Department was unable to determine the cause of the smell and the situation is reportedly occurring countywide.

Montgomery County Emergency Management Agency is actively conducting an investigation, police said, noting that further information will be disseminated as it becomes available.
